China Beneficiary

Before making a payment to a China account, you are to add a beneficiary. Note that we can payout to WeChat, Alipay or Bank(CNY, USD) accounts.

📘

For payout transactions to China beneficiaries where the "destination.type" is "BANK", you must attach an invoice to the transaction. You can add the invoice using the attach payout document endpoint.

CHINA BANK TRANSFERS - CRITICAL REQUIREMENT
For China BANK transfers, Sender name and beneficiary name must exactly match the name on the attached invoice.
Any mismatch may result in:

Immediate fund seizure by Chinese banks
1-6 month recovery process
Additional fees and potential fund loss

Brails will not be responsible for delays, costs, or fund recovery issues caused by name mismatches. Ensure exact name matching when creating the beneficiary, and before submitting transactions to China.

The parameters for adding beneficiary for China Alipay accounts are:

The remittance purpose can be any one of the following values: FAMILY_SUPPORT, LIBERALIZED_REMITTANCE, CONSTRUCTION_EXPENSES, ADVERTISING_EXPENSES, ADVISORY_FEES, EXPORTED_GOODS, SERVICE_CHARGES, PROPERTY_RENTAL, TAX_PAYMENT, SALARY_PAYMENT.
